What needed to change

The app needed to support fast, accurate cricket scoring while staying responsive on mobile devices, handling offline usage, and preventing scoring conflicts when multiple devices were connected.

Solution

We created a local-first scoring flow with offline persistence, Dexie-backed state rehydration, and WebSocket-based live sync to keep the interface fast, reliable, and ready for high-frequency match updates.
